What are the minimum requirements to promote from sdr to smb AE at Deel?

There’s no defined path or clear criteria. 0 coreAE roles were opened for 3 straight quarters, even as top SDRs exceeded goals. Many with 18-24+ months in seat aren’t given real opportunities, and timelines are vague at best and always changing. Many sdrs are exiting. Attainment has tanked org wide

lol there is no framework it changes every day but only keeps getting harder and harder.

2 guys recently got promoted one was a top rep for basically three years hitting probably an average lifetime attainment of 150%+

No defined path , criteria or timeline.  Currently they are doing a promotion cycle for July 1st. The only allowed 5 SDRs to be given a shot to interview and only 2 AE seats. Just took the highest attainment as criteria. No other factors. Those selected just created fake opportunities. So you're competing against scammers. Last promotion before that was for October 1st 2024. So really only once a year.  This is not the org to come to as an SDR hoping to get promoted.

Little to no promotion paths here at Deel.

There is no upward mobility, truthfully. If you want to be an AE at Deel, become an AE elsewhere and then apply. If you want to be a manager, become a manager elsewhere then apply. Etc.

You could be the #1 top SDR for a year straight and they'd likely hire an AE with little experience from somewhere else instead of promoting you.

Make sure you're becoming an AE or Manager in a similar role and same industry, otherwise you won't get into Deel.
