Pros 1. Badass product 2. Good hearted people 3. intelligent people 4. Lots of passion and hunger to be successful 5. Competing with free and cheap services so you need to understand how to sell the value of a premium product (really rewarding once you get the hang of this but don’t expect them to teach you how to sell it lol) Cons (a lot more than this): 1) Lack of empathy in leadership 2) sales leaders (that I worked for) are pushy, desperate, don't know how to sell, don't sell with compassion, stressed by quota attainment and have ZERO coaching skills. 3) Only true outbound sales revenue is in AEC with the exception of experienced reps 4) Everyone else either hits quota with upsells to install base or doesn't comes close to hitting quota at all. 5) Difficult product to sell and poor enablement (the CEO is openly cheap AF and doesn't invest in sales coaching or enablement) He doesn't ge that you need to spend money to make it. 7) They don't know how to sell their product and don't care to teach you. Egnyte fails by choice and takes zero accountability. You will feel GASLIT.
