Great experience. Company is a sales machine and you really learn what works. Likewise, while there isn't a ton of inbound lead flow (maybe 1 opportunity per quarter), but people know the Gartner brand, so outreach to generate or capture interest is usually pretty straightforward. Typically more about challenging a prospect's view of Gartner and when to use us vs "who are these people and why are they calling"

Obviously have brand recognition — that’s about it. Awful leadership. Micromanaging is off the charts. Leadership loves to add meaningless busy work to reps that don’t drive deals at all. Truly a toxic environment that does not lead to a career. Majority of middle management are ex-AEs who have no clue how to manage and are puppets for senior leadership.
