Current Employee Gartner is a good company to cut your teeth and get experience as a young rep. The pay is okay for top performers but brand new folks coming from external companies will always make more than tenured reps. Inbound lead flow is non-existent. You have to hunt what you eat. Leadership is pretty oblivious to what their sellers and front line managers need, and they seem happy to keep it that way. Managers are glorified box checkers as are the first two levels of VPs.
If you want to keep your head down and just work, this is a really great spot. If you want to be a top performer, go somewhere that will prioritize your value.
