IBM is a nice culture. People are nice. Market compensation. Customers never respond to out-bound prospecting. But easy to hit quota because a customer will buy software in your territory as part of a large deal. You can make a nice living there, but as a non-technical AE, you're not really growing your skillset

IBM isn’t that bad, but it does have a negative stigma in some places and not in others. It’s so person and manager dependent that it could be incredible or terrible.

Company relies heavily on legacy clients and mainframe renewals. They have acquired many good products and companies, but still lag in the AI space. Most revenue resides in the same accounts YOY. Currently undergoing lots of changes. Not a bad entry level role but I wouldn’t recommend staying beyond the 2-3 year mark unless you have a golden territory.
