It had been good for the first two years in a previous role, but the company is owned by Blackstone and they came in and completely torched the culture/perks/compensation. Morale was deteriorating over time - I spoke with a colleague just recently after I had been away from the organization for several months and she said it's the worst culture she's been a part of in her 30+ year career.

IDC is a great company. Crawford provided excellent leadership while I was there and we were frequently competitive in a difficult market arena with Gartner and Forrester.
