What are the typical career advancement opportunities for sales professionals at KnowBe4?

You can see from the reviews that there are not really advancement opportunities unless you advance due to someone leaving for better pay. They are brining in Executives from outside of the organization and not promoting from within anymore.  80% of the C Levels, SVPs, EVPs are all outside hires and even the Enterprise Team is not making the high value paychecks they used to make, so as they start to lose those reps, most likely they will not be replaced as they are hitting a ceiling in terms of lead numbers and having enough viable accounts to work.

Far less since the Vista acquisition. Budget is always very tight. Headcount is very limited, especially in international offices. Even if you were a top performing SDR globally, it doesn’t guarantee career advancement. You must also navigate through office politics.

Career advancements for sales professionals at KnowBe4 depend upon where you begin.  If you start as an SDR you have the ability to move to SMB Sales or Account Management.  From SMB you could move to Enterprise Sales.  You also have the opportunity to move into management or senior roles at the SDR, SMB or Enterprise  depending if that is  your desire path.  Another great path is moving from sales to customer success.  Ultimately if you desire to move in another path KnowBe4 likes to promote from within so you can speak to anyone in the company and shadow their role to see if it is a path you prefer to follow. There is also an abundance of training you can take advantage to develop yourself for another role and move in that direction.  Best of luck to you!

There are many ways to advance at KnowBe4.  I started in SMB with the goal to get to ENT.  I was promoted after 11 months.  This was 3 years ago.  We now have a growing SDR/BDR team that gives an additional entry point.
