In my assessment of Lenovo, I find that career progression often hinges on the disposition of middle management, fostering a somewhat cliquey and exclusionary environment. Decisions regarding career advancements lack transparency and appear subjective. While I have found satisfaction in my tenure at Lenovo, opportunities for upward mobility can be inconsistent, influenced by one's alignment with the prevailing social circles within the organization.

Lenovo’s leadership during Covid was impressive, but since then it has drastically declined. They also changed comp plans, so what I would have made last quarter with my % to goal was cut in half since 2021.

Overall, Lenovo is a great company to work for. Tons of resources and management cares about your successes and struggles. Great teamwork and encouragement from peers. Solid compensation.
