Yes, Microsoft has a Digital Sales team that is focused exclusively on pipeline generation for Security Solutions, across both Microsoft 365 (Security & Compliance) and Azure (Sentinel & etc.)

Typically, once a lead/opportunity has been surfaced, it will be handed to a Microsoft Solution Specialist (SSP) who is responsible for closing Security & Compliance workloads.

While they have a program that is similar to what you are doing now, they don’t set appointments per se for AEs they’re dedicated to hunting in a set of accounts in support of two AEs and are responsible for every aspect of the sales process.
