Specifically in Business Applications, which verticals are doing well and which ones are struggling? Some markets that interest me are Healthcare, Telecommunications, and Software & Digital Platforms, but would love to hear any feedback about where Biz Apps is seeing success (or challenges) in sales

Software and Digital is challenging due to market fit. They run best of breed with Salesforce, NetSuite, Workday. Hard compete.

Telecom is solid. Healthcare can be hit/miss. Retail and FSI are probably our top. Manufacturing too.

The effectiveness of CRM and ERP depends on geo-location (Americas, EMEA, APAC) and market segment (Enterprise, Corporate, SMB). CRM works well across industries due to its configurability and solid implementation partners. ERP traditionally excels in Manufacturing and Wholesale but can adapt to other sectors with the right add-ons and partners. However, the availability of these solutions/partners varies by company size and location. BizApps also includes Power Platform, which sells wel across all industries. But: The deal sizes are typically smaller, than again, sales cycles tend to be shorter.

Software and Digital is a tough fit. Salesforce, Netsuite and Workday shine here. Telecom there is good references and stories there. Healthcare is a major longshot. ERP is not a fit and CRM/Customer Service in healthcare is the best path in but competing against Salesforce here is tough. Retail and Manufacturing is Microsoft's Top areas across the board for Biz Apps.
