Current Employee The constant layoffs are unnerving. The people being let go are some of the best and brightest, but not exclusively. It's really hard to understand the strategy in many scenarios. Folks who won Gold Club, or just got promoted a week prior, were part of the layoffs -- as well as more junior talent.
Net result is having to do more with less resources.
Product strategy seems to be lacking. Microsoft is not setting a course, it's larging reacting. Despite the Secure Future Initiative, reactions to security flaws in product are still slow and largely lacking
