Currently interviewing for an Enterprise AE role. The Motive recruiter I had my initial call with told me there was ramp guaranteed commission. But has since left Motive and I am now going through an outside agency recruiter to help me through the process. Is this true?

You should check the detail and have it documented in writing. When I joined I was promised guaranteed ramp up for 3 months, then once I entered they told me that it was only one month so I had to fight and talk to many areas to ensure that I got 3 months. Also, it was paid way later (like at the end of five months).

Yes, you'll get a ramp.  That said, I'd be more concerned about what percentage of the sales team is actually making quota.  Hint: it's not great.

yes, there is ote of 70k.  for me first month is a 0 quota, for ent month 2 will be 33% quota so 3, then month 3 is full quota, so 10 meetings. there is a 30 day delay between payout so you will get jan commission at end of feb. I would also make sure it is in writing.

The reason you'll rarely make quota is that they move the goal posts all the time. In 4+ years, they revised the comp plan multiple times per year. As for the ramp - get it in writing b/c they'll have no compunction when it comes to screwing you over. And don't miss quota - you will be PIP'd and out the door before you know it. Ask what territory you're interviewing for - b/c I guarantee it'll be the open b/c the last rep couldn't get anything going. Keep your head on a swivel.

I've seen it at the Ent. level, but make sure it's written in your offer letter and not "comp plan will come from your manager later."

Enterprise AEs definitely get a ramp guarantee. I can attest that most active AEs are successful - former AEs are usually salespeople who simply didn't connect well with our market. The Enterprise business has grown nearly 10x in 2 years - very exciting & inspiring culture!

I know one rep who was promised “full OTE draw” + kickers on any deals closed for first year to help launch an ENT team. Wasn't put it in writing and eventually got fired after he declined following a request to do something unethical in the sales process. Ask tenured reps about it.

Yes, this is true. It will be written in to your written offer letter. My ramp was paid mo they in arrears (one month later payout).
