Question

I read that Samsara sued Motive for patent infringement, and Motive countersued. Can anyone prove Samsara is at fault, not Motive? I checked trustandsafety.com, which I know is Motive's website, so please don't direct me there.

The Staff Attorney who advises the ITC judge published her pre-trial brief and concluded that Motive does not infringe Samsara's patents and all three of Samsara's patents are invalid. While this is not the final decision in the ITC case, it is an important development that confirms what we have known all along — Samsara's legal case was not about protecting IP; it was an attempt to limit competition and prevent customers from accessing the best technology.

The countersuit was submitted with all the proof we have, but there's no news on that one as far as I know. On the side of Samsara's lawsuit, the judge's staff determined this week that not only has Motive not infringed any of Samsara's patents, but also those 3 patents are invalid for claiming ineligible subject matter, and also based on prior art, meaning it's not technology Samsara created
