Salesforce has one set of BDRs that are responsible for all products. MuleSoft is a different type of sale and so it’s not a top priority for BDRs looking to make their number. Salesforce should be looking at ways to create more synergies between application stack/Agentforce/Data Cloud. This would drive both product/market/fit and inbound lead flow.

Compensation has been overall excellent, but there are issues in the evolution of the organization. Simply - some employees should not be in technology.

Everything good about Mulesoft from when they were independent is gone. R&D hasn't kept up with pure-play vendors, which are more straightforward to use and manage. Poor leadership with a strong bias towards people who transfer in from other Salesforce BUs. They offer high OTEs, but very few hit their number by design, as the territories have been cut back too far...Read More
