How does quota attainment look for AMs and AEs at Netsuite this year? Any adjustments for market conditions?

3% of the emerging markets direct sales team hit quota this past year. They ignored this number and didn't alter the quota going into the new year.

Emerging AE organization is extremely competitive, less than 10% of reps have hit quota in the past couple of years and all they do it raise it.

Quota is certainly not going down, despite less than 5% of emerging reps actually achieving their annual number. Cheating, scheming, and favoritism is rampant here, with the rich reps getting richer and no opportunities for others to succeed.

Most people haven’t closed deals this fiscal. Quota was raised by a ton and raises were not given. Not expecting much this year and most people will be happy with finishing at 50%

Quota as an org overall continues to increase even with consistent misses. We're growing but not at the rate prior to 2022 but management seems to ignore the "market conditions" you refer to and want unrealistic growth... and they are just fine with quota being missed for individuals as long as it results in being able to say the org still grew i.e. 15% instead of 30%... especially since that means less costs in payroll and paid commissions.

5% of IC1 AMs hit quota last FY. And they raised quotas from $770k to $859k this FY.

Quotas increased and people are not hitting their number - no market adjustments at all  just lots of pressure to decrease or remove
discount to completely.

Easier to hit goal in AM.  In AE roles Emerging is hard to hit goal because reps have very little experience and sales cycle in ERP is complex.  Mid market gets better and Corporate gets even better.

What has been the reaction from AE's with the increase of quotas?

They never drop quota in my experience and it only every goes up no matter the circumstances. It's also extremely tough to succeed in role on the AM side. I've heard the same from AEs.
