Ability to make $$$ within your first year depending on when your start date is. NetSuite/ Oracle FY starts on June 1st and ends on Memorial Day. If you’re an external hire, your payout rate will be between 5-7% for both ARR / renewals. Upsell deals (new ARR) is extremely tough to come by outside of an organizations renewal contract. Forced Upgrades are pretty much the only shot you have at being able to make any commission. I was in an IC3 role and my annual # was 2 million (1.1 being my renewals # and 910 being my upsell #). Your success all depends on the patch you’re given. Less than 20% of reps in my org were coming close to hitting their quota.

NetSuite is a great place to sell and develop. The SMB sector can be a tough product fit but worth it if you are closing 2+ deals per quarter
