The culture is pretty good. But the sale cycle is monthly and is a hamster wheel mentality. There is a lot of post sales work with operation to make sure the deal is able to start. The product (hr services) is great but over priced for the market we work in. The base salary is laughable and there are consistent comp changes. Great first sales job though, not for experienced reps.

Paychex is a company that understands the concept of "burn rate" extremely well. As of this moment, they have clearly overhired and do not have the systems set up for salespeople to be successful in my specific role.
