Another reviewer mentioned issues with churn... what's going on? Is this specific to enterprise or just mid market?

DO NOT come to here… lesson learned… they prioritize snakes in the grass over integrity.  The leadership is changing and their are some horrible reps here that will make sure to manipulate and steal.

There is a ton of turnover and most reps don't make it to the 2 years mark. All of my training class (15 people) aside from 1, were gone by the 15 month mark.

For Mid-market: There is minimal inboud/marketing lead flow so you survive off of your prospecting and referral network (1 inbound lead per quarter on average). There is a major issue with senior sales reps owning all the large established partnerships and getting all of their business directly from them. Because of this, Paylocity started labeling these reps as "channel reps" and giving their old territory to new hires without the ability to work the established relationships in this turf. This makes these new hire territories a 100% hunter role.

For Enterprise: Enterprise mainly relies on mid-market referrals to get deals. Paylocity's product is not an enterprise product, it was designed for mid market. There is a very small niche that Paylocity can fill in the "enterprise space" which is 500-1500 employee companies. Companies larger than this look for a more enterprise level solution (workday, oracle, UKG, etc.). It is not uncommon to have an enterprise rep not close a single deal for a year and just live off the base salary.
