Current Employee Responsive has a huge attainment and compensation problem. 0% of the SMB/MM reps hit their number in 2024. So far, everyone in SMB/MM is tracking to not hit their annual number for 2025.
They underpay on base salary and have unattainable quota numbers. (Again, 0% of SMB/MM reps hit their number in 2024)
Sr Leadership seems to not care about paying reps fairly or creating a sales org that has a baseline healthy attainment (40%+).
They have no idea that a majority of their reps (SMB, MM, ENT) are secretly interviewing elsewhere and are timing exits to other orgs, because no one is tracking to quota, & they don't see any healthy changes coming.
Responsive's Sr sales leadership is choosing not to prioritize baseline healthy attainment, and it's likely going to backfire.
Replacing and training new reps is extremely expensive, tedious, and trying to recruit (and retain) top performers is even more difficult.
Responsive's Sr Sales Leadership needs to immediately 1) raise base salaries to *above* market average (so reps don't leave) and 2) LOWER quota numbers so *at least* 40% of their reps can confidently hit their number.
