SAP cares more about controlling revenue than growing revenue. This has led many poor decisions like capping commissions earnings. The ELT seems to be an echo chamber: 2024 innovation award for operations led to LOWER pipeline generation but it was easier to report on. No training for sales. No collaboration from others to drive new business. Just AEs asked to do more.

Big culture shift. Top sales reps leaving. Restrictive finance team making it harder to be creative, succeed = make money. Only the strong will survive, but won’t be happy much longer.
