Current Employee Competitors are spending loads of money to spread positive brand awareness, drive inbound traffic and fresh leads their way. Concur's marketing is extremely outdated and has limited budget. There's a lot of relying on brand recognition for being leader in space for past 30 years. When I first started, seemed to have 60-80% of people hitting quota, now it's between 10-25%. You're relying on large deals to give you a chance for quota. Competitors are offering higher base salaries, higher OTEs, and investing more money into marketing & innovative SDR outreach plays. Feels like Concur isn't doing anything to fix the stereotype that it's an outdated, non user friendly software.
On the plus side, there are a lot of amazing people that work here. There are several people here I would consider close friends outside of work. Browse Other Reviews
