Current Employee The role is almost entirely outbound now. ADRs can transfer nearly anyone with a company to AEs, which helps, but leadership severely tanked inbound lead quality in 2025. If you’ve built a solid book of business with loyal existing customers and growing net new ones, you’ll thrive. If not, it can get pretty grim fast. Management doesn’t hesitate to cut underperformers, so you need to come in sharp and stay sharp.
