Current Employee Shopify has a massive data problem. This results in the books of business to not allow reps to be able to successfully back into their quota even if they closed 50%+ of their accounts. Additionally, quotas uniform across all verticals. They are not designed to accurately reflect the number of workable accounts or intricacies of each vertical—this means that your success is largely based on luck. Extensive changes are made by leadership each quarter which negates the reps ability to get in a rhythm or build their relationships and pipeline, resulting in having to start from scratch each time. While the earning potential is unlimited, reps do not have the infrastructure to be successful and if you finish below 80% (which is likely to happen) your commission will be cut in half. The product is fantastic, however the sales organization has too many issues to make me want to recommend working here.
