My overall experience at Shopify was great. I started off as an inbound SDR and worked my way up to an AE in the cross-sell segment. I learned a ton and got my MBA in ecommerce at Shopify + a ton of cool perks. However, your success very much depends on your sales manager and you have to be very okay with change (I had 6 managers in my almost three years there + countless reorgs).

Shopify’s retail sales org has been a mixed bag.
