Splunk has a phenomenal culture and top-notch product. Expect a 12 month period to ramp up due to the opportunity requires a fairly good grasp of technical use cases.

It's not what it used to be. Culture, leadership and overall outlook is very murky. Many people just along for the ride right now vs actually getting stuff done. Milking existing account base for as much as possible to keep kicking off profit and cash for new ownership.

Splunk overhired AEs and as a consequence the hero to zero factor is very high, either you blow it away or your struggle mightily to get to the arbitrarily assigned number.
