Stryker pays the best and also expects the most. In reality the expectations are unrealistic but they hire reps that are capable of overperforming. Stryker is not a company that 95% will have a longterm career. They will promote a few into management depending on their profile and they will stay around longterm but most will be managed out at some point. If you have a alpha hunters mentality that is ok with never having the best products, in Neuro/Spine, but being paid the best and at some point treated terribly then Stryker is the company for you.

My overall experience started great. Now, 8 years later, I don’t recognize the company I used to love. Year over year they have consistently cut rep’s pay significantly, decreased territory size, and the quality of our products has dramatically declined which makes reaching our sales goals unrealistic.
