I only had experienced it during Covid but it was incredibly high stressed. Everyone was high strung, worried about being canned for not hitting quota and had no life outside of work. Training was minimal in my division and it is incredible that this is a profession that doesn’t require additional post-grad training/certification. Also, you work with some really shitty surgeons that hack their patients and that weighs heavy on the conscience.

it was a joy to be part of this organization. They offer great compensation, the potential for growth was also high. The product fit was good but the market is somewhat crowded.

The idea of distributors in the southeast US, makes Stryker a workplace of flexibility, but extremely hard to get stuff done. Management is spread thin, and hard to reach. Constantly cutting you at the knees on costs or resources, while blowing smoke of how great it is to work here.
