Current Employee On the commercial central team (Austin), the quota was increased recently across the whole segment and the territory has shrunk. We lost MULTIPLE states (none received in return), not to mention an increase in AEs that we all split that with.
They did however give a small bump in base salary, for what it’s worth. Many of us are still unsure how they expect us all to hit quota, which not many people are, but as a region we are which I suppose is good for managers and second line + leadership.
Managers are great for the most part here, they genuinely care about helping you.
You really need to just close one or two extremely large deals per quarter and that will help achieve quota.
