Super toxic culture that feels like it's catching up to the entire company. Toxicity and gaslighting was hidden well when things were going well, but since pivoting to software, we can't figure it out. Blame is often shifted to individual contributors by inexperienced leadership, and working here right now feels like paranoia and walking on eggshells constantly. Strategy and product direction shifts every quarter, leading to confusion by sales/customer teams on what we're even selling.

Cult like culture, all of the bad glassdoor reviews are 100% accurate. Conducted layoffs right after an expensive company off-site and resumed hiring within the same month. Every person in leadership plays favorites and trust me, you will know if you are not favored. Lots of tribalism, the exact thing the CEO says isnt present at Tropic. The list goes on. Up and down experience so far. Definitely not put in a situation that is winnable without a lot of extra effort and creating opportunity for myself. Inbound leads have severely dried up in the last 6 months.
