Overall, the experience selling for VMware is positive. The current compensation plan heavily rewards moving customers from perpetual to subscription and SaaS. The comp plan also includes 3x accelerator once over 150%. OTE is double the base salary. Quota is set for each half (bi-annual). Typical full-year enterprise quota is ~$4-5 million.
