VMware was a great place to work pre-Broadcom. Now with new management everyone is on a team number/compensation plan. Very few are hitting the targets being set (on guarantee so everyone still getting paid). Very upset customers with price hikes and concerning rhetoric when it comes to leadership. Divisions across the business have vastly different management and leadership styles. You might have a totally different experience working for one manager vs another even within the same division. Unless you do not seek career growth I would recommend avoiding - many are jumping ship.
