Compensation is constantly changing without the employee in mind. Larger goals and workload for the same compensation. For example May of 2024, goal was $5400 for a compensation payout of $1330 and ability to multiply and make more for overachieving. Total revenue generated was $7684 and I made a $3000 commission check. May of 2025, goal was $8200 for a compensation payout of $1330 with a chance to multiply and multiply if you overachieve. Total revenue generated was $8029 and made $1097 as a commission check.

Overall, Verizon is a good company to work for. Great benefits and a substantial amount of time off once you've been with the company for a while. The demand of being on the front line can be overwhelming. Quotas are high and less attainable than they used to be.

Overall, I had good experience at Verizon and it funded early stages of my career but no matter what team I was a part of, none of my leaders took me seriously when it came to promoting. They only would after I left but by that point, I've already uprooted my life and left, there was no turning back.
