Former Employee My overal experience was positive. Verkada is a hypergrowth unicorn company based out of Silicon Valley. I was promoted in my role, and became a top performer within 6 months, having 0 B2B tech sales background before Verkada. Culture is work hard play hard. Perks are awesome - $80/month travel credits (I used them for riding Bird scooters), free lunch every day, unlimited snacks, drinks, cold brew coffee in the office, great office location in downtown office. My few criticisms are upper management in-office seems cliquey - in some ways it's understandable. They're under a lot of pressure to perform, so they will only give you the time of day if they see you're putting in the work + getting results. Otherwise, good luck. You'll probably really struggle to network and learn from them. My next criticism is a political one. There seems to be a woke agenda permeating through the culture. Not the worse thing, after all it is a SV-based company. This might rub you the wrong way if you strongly disagree with woke agenda, otherwise there're plenty of people who work there that you'll get along with. Just be aware!
