As a Mid Market Account Executive at Verkada, I've experienced both positives and negatives. On one hand, the product-market fit is strong, and the company culture is great with extremely talented and motivated sales reps. However, high quotas and low pay create immense pressure, compounded by a strict 100% in-office policy that doesn't align with changing work preferences. Moreover, the prevalent "churn and burn" culture prioritizes short-term gains over long-term relationships, leading to high turnover rates among employees. Improvements in quotas, compensation, and retention strategies are needed to enhance the overall experience for Mid Market Account Executives.

Guys, I have been with this company for just over a year. If there is ANYTHING you can do for yourself - DO NOT JOIN THIS COMPANY. The leaders are all ABSOLUTE pricks. They have absolutely no regard for reps. You are nothing but a number. You will spend SO MUCH time and EFFORT trying to close your deals, and the money you will make is PEANUTS.
