Working at Zoom for close to eight years was a great experience. Although there were many changes and it was a very different organization by the time I left, I will forever be grateful for my time there.

Overall Zoom was a good company with good people, the challenge they have is they are still too inexperienced with truly global companies that require services in multiple countries where regulatory and privacy laws are a very real thing. Without a true plan to address the gaps it wasn't a good fit for me.

Great culture, people and product. Base pay is not great but you can make it up with certain deals. Biggest issue is marketing/branding. Most enterprise companies still view Zoom as just a meetings company, when there's so much more (and it's good tech). Other issue is that succes is highly dependent on territory.

The times are a changing... Zoom's direction appears sound and will ultimately continue being a leader because of the innovation path and product portfolio expansion. That being said, internally there is a bunch of changes that are drastically impacting employee productivity.
