Do not work here unless you absolutely have no choice. The development and training teaches you basics that can help if you are a true beginner, but can also be learned on your own. This company is one of the most terrible companies out there. No health insurance benefits for the first 3 months, ZERO sick days (like what is this the industrial revolution?), terribly low pay (PAID HOURLY) because they want to make sure that if you do not work you suffer. Lying recruiters who throw "big" salary numbers at new grads who have no idea what they are doing. I would stay away from Dallas especially as they won't even give you free coffee in that miserable office. They will pip you within 6 weeks after giving you a terrible software client to work on.

You can come in with absolutely no sales background as I did and if you really adopt their training and put in the work, by month 3 you will be a solid seller. Since as a firm they sell various B2B startups, they are not relying on a single "value add" pitch like most companies. They focus on the essentials of cold call booking, the core of what will work regardless of what you are selling. You are also surrounded by other SDRs who you can lean on, you hear what works and quickly pivot. To top it off, they have a great tech stack to efficiently blast out calls, the most important aspect is putting in the reps, they make it easy to do that. You really are given all the tools necessary to become a good SDR there and it will translate into any other role where you book appointments yourself.

A few things:

1. The diversity of spread and close-knitedness of the alumni network. Tens of thousands of tech sales careers were launched in a frat-like boiler room during many people's first "real" job. This makes for a ton of formative memories you keep with you for years down the line that few can relate to. Folks in the trenches grow closer.

2.  You are trained to prospect and sell to basically any and all tech buyers as you could be assigned to one campaign one month and switched to another the following. This "product agnostic" style approach helps you produce results quick without getting sucked in to feature fever

3. The company dumps a ton of money into refining it's training process, and running it's own result data back into it's program so that it's up to date. A lot of the fundamentals borrow from Sandler, but there's new editions quarterly

4. Higher up members will be sent to networking events regularly
