Former Employee The Rubrik product has an amazing product fit for all companies minus the SMB category as it is one of the high end products in the market. Very easy to move through a deal cycle until the sticker shot at the end with every proposal.
The problem with this company isn’t the product or its fit. The problem is the leadership. The leadership is made up of either buddies of the CEO or family hires. Most of the time you will have someone above you who has never sold before, only knows what has been taught by those quality sales training programs, or the fun option of never actually working / won’t try to help you when you need it.
The company was not this way in the beginning but while being there over the years, I got to watch great leaders leave and be replaced with unskilled workers for less money to cut spend as they worked their way to IPO.
I hope it has gotten better with the IPO actually occurring for the sake of colleagues that are still there.
