Current Employee Rubrik is a leader in backup and recovery with a sought-after platform and excellent product-market fit. Its people are highly intelligent and driven. However, the company fixates on growth at all costs, boasting 40% YOY growth that has come at a high price. This is clear in the sales function, where staff are seen as expendable, breeding a cutthroat, "every man for himself" environment that eliminates collaboration. Tenured employees are jaded and cliquey. Ultimately, a great product and capable people are undermined by a culture that priorities growth even at an unacceptable cost.
