- PLG business that is moving upmarket. Sales is growing faster than any other department and in a great position to dominate, products are miles ahead of competition - Big team mentality and lots of support even up to C Level - Upgraded the tech stack and sales process recently which was v important and badly needed. More to do though - LOTS of changes, so you need to adapt quickly.

Very negative. Job was misrepresented in the interview process, quota attainment was extremely low, training was very bad. Overall would not recommend.

Very low base pay. Commission incentives have decreased month over month by changing the quotas 3 times in 6 months. The writing on the wall that focus is being put on MM/ENT reps/clients

Comp plan was re-worked. Quotas up 15%+ across the board. Lack of tooling necessary to manage volume of interactions required. Great product, good people, not ideal selling environment. New targets were hit by less than 15% of org historically.

Dear Sender, While our compensation plans were updated in 2024 to align with new products, pricing adjustments, and overall growth goals, the claim that only 15% of AEs hit the plan is inaccurate. In 2024, over 60% of our sales team achieved quota, and 21 team members qualified for President’s Club, representing 16% of our sales org. Additionally, our sales organization grew 100% YoY, making it the fastest-growing team at Semrush. This was also demonstrated during our analyst day presentation and recent earnings call.
