Former Employee I was recently affected by a company-wide layoff, and unfortunately, my four years with the company seemed to mean little in their eyes. Despite excelling in my previous roles across other segments (previous president club member) , Mid-Market has always been a challenge at 1Password. What I initially saw as a challenge I could overcome eventually led to the erosion of my personal branding within the company and, ultimately, a sense of self-destruction. The constant changes week to week only exacerbated the situation. We didn’t receive our new compensation plan until the end of Q1, and then the merging of existing and new roles occurred without sufficient time to adjust or adapt to these added responsibilities.
Leadership was not supportive, and there were no coaching opportunities provided. I was let go without a Performance Improvement Plan (PiP), even though I had tried to voice areas where I wanted to improve. Unfortunately, empty promises were made, and no actionable feedback was ever provided.
Based on my experience and other reviews, I would strongly advise staying away from this company. The base salary is significantly below market, and their expectations — or what they consider success — are, frankly, unrealistic. Browse Other Reviews
