There’s a $10K base pay cut, and your experience at AT&T heavily depends on your manager. Some managers drill down on daily activity, while others only focus on end-of-month results. Overall, it’s a very polarizing environment—people tend to either love it or hate it. The quota is notoriously difficult to hit. As of April 2025 in the Northern California market—which is ranked #1 nationwide—we have about 100 reps, and only around 5 are consistently hitting quota. In fact, less than 5% of the sales team has hit quota over the past year, and we regularly see 1–2 reps let go from the market every month due to performance. That should give you a sense of how inflated the targets are. 0 leads are given. Although we do get paid on PXQ, the most reliable path to success is through strong referral-based partnerships. Personally, I found success by building relationships with IT vendors and property managers, who became steady sources of leads. One more note—if you go through the Dallas B2B training program, you’ll likely have a smoother transition into the field. From what I’ve seen and heard, the training quality tends to drop off significantly outside of Dallas.
