Former Employee BDR org fighting to find relevancy, just moved under marketing recently. Compensation is now based on pipeline progression to certain stages where its way removed from the BDR's responsibility and solely on AE. Stems from leadership believing BDR created pipeline is unqualified, although leadership continues to ask for aspirational pipeline (create pipeline before meetings even occur, obviously its not qualified)
Smb AE teams no longer exist, no BDR > AE route. Many BDR's in seat for 36+ months. They pitch a path to the Renewals org but rare openings.
Base pay is competitive with some of the best benefits out there in tech. Adobe has top martech solutions and is a great org for experienced AE's to get into. Even with non ideal promotion path for BDR's, great name brand and base pay to start career with, unfortunately growth is almost non existant. Company wide time off during July 4th week and Christmas week is also awesome. Can stack PTO days around that time frame for additional time off, not uncommon practice. Browse Other Reviews
