Former Employee Would not recommend if you’re looking to eventually became an AE and you’re coming in as a BDR on the DX side of the business. I know a ton of talented folks who spend 2-4 yrs as a BDR and the only real upward path is to become a renewals specialist (not a real closing role by any stretch).
You can still make decent $ in renewals, but if your goal is to eventually become an AE this is a very slow and painful way of doing it. Renewals is not exciting.
