My overall experience declined rapidly the longer I stayed there. When I first joined, AWS was an incredible place to work where everyone was hungry and truly customer obsessed. It was the world's largest startup. Very quickly, the culture changed and became a "day 2" culture. VERY process driven, lots of red tape, reduction in investment to help customers migrate to AWS, and ever increasing quotas even when the quota increases don't make sense. Very tough place to have a long standing tenure anymore, which is actually really sad.

Culture is declining quick. The return to office 5 days a week is only adding to this decline. Constantly looking for way to cut cost at the expense of its employees.
