Mixed. Compensation stagnates and they rarely raise base salary. Sales culture is a bit weak.

AWS did not give base increases to L6s and above this year. Additionally, I know multiple people whose OTE is lower for next than it is for this year, with no reason provided for the drop. I'm a PDM, so my compensation is base + RSUs, with no way to over achieve.

Recent (2024) changes in coverage model have led to disruption in customer relationships. Long term prospects here are still positive, but the short term horizon is filled with change and uncertainty.
