Current Employee Not good. Non-sales leadership that willy-nilly jack up quotas so more people can not hit target. Automation does not exist in this role, with lack-lustre sales tools (No ZoomInfo in the UK, nothing like outreach, so you cold-call rinsed numbers and have to manually do workflows for email campaigns on SFDC). Saturated accounts at ENT level, with little to no support from both AMs and AEs alike. Goal attainment is dependent on how nice your internal stakeholders are, and their willingness to give you opportunities to log. As a result, the targets are ludicrous and not in line with reality, because the previous benchmark is based on fake pipeline gen numbers that the BDRs did not self source. All in all, if you want to seem attractive to the outside world in sales, work for AWS, as everyone has a great opinion of it. The reality is the inside is full of farmers that have little to no real impressive sales chops, a lack of willingness to upskill their BDRs, and a general bad attitude.
