Current Employee Different company than when I joined 4 years ago. The CSC org has struggled with leadership prioritizing empire building over true value-adding sales focus. CSC hiring bar descended fast 2022-2023 and it is clear from the outside that it's a junior org with undertrained overpaid DGRs that are being fast track to ISR and customers have noticed. New Customer Acquisition team (DGR) Director is an unserious L8 and implemented a high activity KPI requirement that deteriorated into spamming Customers. Most of the competent ISR leaders and AEs have left and 2025 MBO goals are exceptionally unrealistic with L7s publicly conceding their push-back on these numbers was rejected by L10. Advice: if you're an external hire and/or L5 CSR that's been here for more than 3 years, start shopping. You aren't learning, this isn't real sales, and AWS "prestige" has declined in the eyes of recruiters. To the DGRs who are making $150K as an SDR fresh out of college, good for y'all (seriously, not a dig) but this is unique to AWS and you are massively overpaid. Deflate your expectations as you navigate the job market for your next role, but AWS on your resume is still a plus. Browse Other Reviews
