How is Asana winning against Monday? ...or are they?  Quota Attainment looks stronger at Monday - but maybe Comp stronger at Asana?

There is a podcast on Monday’s website where they outline their comp structure but famously they don’t pay (or have limited ) commission and instead pay a relatively high basic so “quota attainment” is apples & oranges. Both Monday & Asana are growing =>50% YoY but Monday are diversifying into other areas such as CRM whereas Asana are looking to be the global leader in product and project management. Quota’s in themselves at Asana are relatively high so I would instead focus on compensation holistically which is definitely on the better side.

honestly..both are tough to differentiate and 
Asana has minimal value for their Enterprise tier and taxes customers and IT leaders know it.

With large enterprise, they dont have a choice..
with smaller companies youre taxing people and they hate it and know it.

Overall, Asana and Monday need to pump out some serious innovations to be that much different outside of emotional purchases.

Both v similar- Asana has some deployments that will be coming out this quarter and Q3 that will be cool but not enough to make the enterprise pricing make sense past Monday aside from general UI and approachability for the end user. 
What is different is culture. Monday's is rough from my understanding.
