Current Employee I’ve been at Cloudflare for a while now, and what’s kept me here is the tech. I still genuinely believe in what we’re building—our innovation pace is impressive, and I enjoy getting customers excited about what we can do for them. That enthusiasm hasn’t faded.
That said, I’ve started to feel some disconnect between the field and leadership when it comes to how we’re expected to get deals across the line. The strategy often feels rigid or misaligned with how enterprise buying actually works. We’re being pushed on metrics and playbooks that don’t always reflect customer reality, and at times, it feels like we’re being asked to force deals rather than close them in a thoughtful, sustainable way.
I want Cloudflare to win, and I know we can—but I think we’d benefit from listening more closely to reps who are in the trenches every day. There’s a lot of talent here. With a bit more trust and strategic alignment, I think we could go even further. Browse Other Reviews
