Position: Sales Development Representative Tenure: 6–12 months Location: London (Hybrid) Cognism gave me a great introduction to tech sales. The onboarding program was well-structured, with a clear focus on learning outreach strategy, ICP development, and objection handling. Day-to-day support was strong, team leads were available for feedback, and weekly call coaching helped sharpen my approach. I learned a lot about sales tech tools like HubSpot, SalesLoft, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator. Expectations were high but fair, and the environment was fast-paced without being overwhelming. Hitting KPIs came down to being consistent and using the data-driven sales process they’ve built out. The SDR team had great camaraderie, and there were clear next steps for progression into AE roles. I'd recommend it to anyone looking to break into SaaS sales with the right training and support.
